Rasmus Slätis
Actor, director and pedagogue Rasmus Slätis has worked in the European contemporary theatre scene for a decade.
During the years 2010 - 2016, Slätis and Nya Rampen toured renowned theatres and theatre festivals in Europe and Canada with the performances Conte d’Amour, We love Africa and Africa loves us and Bis zum Tod. The performances were co- productions with the Swedish theatre Institutet and the theatre company of Slätis, Nya Rampen. The performances were directed by Swedish visual artist and director Markus Öhrn.
In addition, Slätis has acted in performances in Finland, Germany, Switzerland and France, e.g. at Volksbühne am Rosa Luxemburg Platz in Berlin and Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord in Paris in works of Markus Öhrn, Pascal Rambert and Tobias Yves Zintel.
Slätis regularly works as visiting pedagogue at the Theatre Academy in Helsinki, and arranges and facilitates workshops for theatre students from Helsinki and Berlin (Ernst Busch Hochschule für Schauspelkunst).
